The SIMPLE TRUTH: They Think We're Simple
Jun 13, 2010 — The Reasonable VoiceTRUE, I’ve been advocating sensible affirmative action, like moving our millions to local credit unions etc, since before it became popular fodder on national talk shows. So naturally, I’m always eager to form alliances with people in anything that informs the American public of at least one TRUE fact: We Have The Power, if only we will focus it on the correct targets -- the “Investors,” Boards of Directors and CEOs who run our country, our daily family life, our Supreme Court and our Congress from behind smoked/tinted glass shrines to themselves, and their partners in crime, the Bankstas!

How Affordable Are Dems’ Health Proposals?
Oct 13, 2009 — charlie.coop@ve...The three health insurance reform plans approved by congressional committees are unlikely to make insurance affordable for low- and moderate-income families. Under plans in the bills, subsidies would be available through a “gateway” or “health exchange” to those not covered by an employer, Medicare, or Medicaid. The plans vary considerably in amount of subsidy and their impact on families. In nearly all instances, premiums would be more costly to families than under the Massachusetts plan, which covers about 169,000 people (while an equal number remain uninsured).

It has come to our attention, you didn’t get the word:
“Single Payer’s off the table. ‘Health Care’s a Right’ – is just absurd!”
We own your politicians and control the process too
Health Care Reform will not be done, while You are in the room.
Max Baucus he’s our man, his Committee too,
Our Stakeholders fill his table and we won’t make room for You-

Healthcare on Marc Steiner Show
Jun 10, 2009 — LarrymbKevin Zeese did an excellent job on the Marc Steiner show yesterday but there are three misleading points made by the opposition to single-payer that I would like to address in the detail section; satisfaction with the present system, jobs, and funding.
We can force congress to enact single payer health care.
May 26, 2009 — www.democratz.orgI have seen and spoke to a lot of well meaning Democrats wanting to make change in Washington and they issue petitions that do not include a boycott of the friends of those who would block progressive action and legislation. Such Democrats unnecessarily tie their left hand behind their backs. I urge people to consider boycotting the friends of those conservatives in congress in order to force them to sit up and take notice and capitulate to our demands. In our country money appears an important factor in getting action done. We need to go on a purchasing strike against the friends of regressives in order to force them to cooperate with us. It appears peaceful and legal in an atmosphere of legalized bribery in congress. We need to take back control over our purchases and how the profits get spent especially how they get used for legalized bribery in congress. We indirectly fund conservatives in congress through our purchases. We need to set conditions for our purchases through targeted boycotts.
CPRights is Wrong!
May 22, 2009 — cadriscollIt's my guess that most Americans know the difference between a health insurance company and a doctor's practice.
The rightwing defenders of America's broken health care system at Conservatives for Patients Rights (CPR) don't seem to get the distinction though. C
Congress has socialized medicine. Why can't I?
May 21, 2009 — Cherylvsocialized medicine - a medical system where the government pays for & regulates medical care.
As federal employees, all senators & representatives have subsidized health care insurance managed by the federal government. What a bunch of hypocrites. If socialized medicine is the disaster they claim it to be, they should all be getting health care on the open market. I wonder how many of them would even get accepted for private coverage.

Boycott Health Insurance to Stimulate Single-Payer
May 16, 2009 — ArieMedicare for all, the single-payer plan, is the only viable option that should be on the table, not the sponsored and heavily lobbied by the insurance companies. The most effective way to accomplish that, in my opinion, is to have young and healthy insured boycott their health insurance and give up their plans. Yes, these young and healthy will be taking a risk, but it's a risk worth taking, if the produced outcome will be Medicare for ALL, including for those risk-takers on the front line. We cannot wait for the promised change to come to Washington from Washington insiders.

Promote Single-Payer Healthcare
May 16, 2009 — ROBERT 8In order to raise the profile of the single-payer healthcare movement I feel that direct civil disobediance actions like those of the "Baucus 13" are INDISPENSABLE! Also, it's imperative that doctors, nurses, and other medical professionals be at the forefront of these actions! Of course it's tremendously important that "Baucus 13" - style cations be covered by the Mainstream Media, so somebody needs to have a video camera or recorder running while this type of civil disobediance takes place.
My letter to the President
May 14, 2009 — hoopstroopI sent this to President Obama last night:
Dear President Obama:
I’m a retired software engineer on a fixed income. I raised six kids and have long been very aware of the many evolving challenges that face our nation. In addition to having some family members in the medical field, I’ve had many personal experiences with our for-profit health insurance system that have led me to conclude that eventually, we need to move to a single payer system that provides health care to every person living in our country.
